The war shooting game DELTA FORCE has achieved many significant successes, both critically and in terms of popularity, but the mobile version Delta Force Mobile has been officially postponed, but for how long?
Development team Jade Studio has announced that the release of Delta Force Mobile, the mobile version of the recently released popular shooter game, has been postponed, as it will now be released in the summer of 2025.
In a post on social media, the development team revealed that the delay is due to the game being a very high-level experience, one that players deserve, that is not ready yet and needs further refinement and final polish.
A few weeks ago, the open beta of Delta Force was released on PC on December 5, and the iOS and Android versions of the mobile operating systems were scheduled to be released this month, while there is no news about the PlayStation and Xbox versions, as the Jade team wrote on social media:
“Regardless of how you evaluate it, Delta Force is – and will continue to be – a very ambitious project. This brings us to some news regarding the release of our game on mobile platforms. After carefully reviewing our product pipeline, we have decided that the current release schedule for the mobile version will not allow us to deliver the high-level experience you deserve.”
The Delta Force Mobile development team also confirmed that the game already runs very well on mobile systems, but the team wants to take extra time to ensure that it runs smoothly across a wide range of diverse devices, as the team promised that 2025 will be a big year for the game's wider community.
Early impressions of Delta Force seemed like it was going to be a mobile game full of microtransactions, but that wasn't revealed, since it's free of course, but hopefully it doesn't affect fair play between competitors. Many have described it as a good shooter, and it could be a replacement for the Battlefield game that lost its way.
